This is the 3rd cache I have placed on routes I cycle along regularly (hence the title "Tour De Chris"). Medium sized clip lock box (contains small torch, digital clock, spring, duck whistle & satmap pen for swaps) with room for trackables placed along the road from Admaston to Newton & Hixon by Blitfield Reservoir.
Not many places to park but easy on the bike as I was or approach by foot on bridleway that comes out further down the road (PLEASE NOTE bridleway is a good 700-800 Meters south of the cache & you will have to WALK ON THE ROADWAY from bridleway to get to cache), safest place would be Blitfield Church car park & walk back up the driveway (crops either side of driveway so please dont park along it) then approx 200 meters down road to cache. I suppose you could pull up onto the grass verges for a quick cache & dash but traffic can catch you unawares so be carefull & dont block any gateways or access roads. Stealth may be required if you have driven to the cache but cycling makes life easy as you just lean the bike up against something & passers by think you are taking a break!
Plenty of other caches close by if you have time on your hands including the Constellations Ursa Major series, Blithfield Church (well worth a visit & requires an hour or so to do), First Innings to name a few.
