I'm Dreaming of a White Elephant (4th Annual) Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Marko Ramius: Greetings! This event cache has recently come to my attention as needing to be archived. Please note that after an event has passed, the event cache should be archived by the organizer within four weeks. Don’t worry, the cache page will still be accessible and logable by either searching other cacher’s logs, by searching the cache owner’s hidden cache list, or by searching using the GCxxxx code.

Thank you for your understanding and for your contributions to Geocaching.

It's a chance to spread some Holiday cheer. Bring your kids, bring
your family, BRING A NEW RECRUIT..
Please post how many people will attend in your

This is being held at the our pool and BBQ area.
There are picnic tables and BBQ grills (if you bring food needing
heating). Did someone say HOT TODDIES ?
IF is happens to be warm and nice, bring your swim suits too.

It's Sat Dec 18th, so go out before the event and find some of the
NEW caches that will be appearing in the area and then come to the
event.
Please start arriving about 4:00pm, the gift exchange will start at 5:00pm.

The idea of a white elephant gift exchange is a popular Holiday
party game usually played during the Christmas season in the United
States. Wrapped gifts are brought and each person gets a
number.

Each guest (or family or team) contributes one gift to the
collection. Multiple members of a Team/Family are welcome to
participate by bringing multiple wrapped gifts.

Numbers are chosen at random and each of the people/teams
take
turns picking a gift from the pile OR they can steal one of
the
already opened gifts instead if one looks inviting.
A gift can only be stolen three times and then it's frozen.

The type of gift suggested can be "something at
LEAST worth $5 but not over $20". They can be "home made item", "a
gag gift (PG13 rating)", or some other Holiday or Caching
appropriate item you might have mind to wrap.

Bring your TB's and Coins, there will a Holiday Tree where
you
can hang your item for exchange with the others traders.
Please
don't take more TB/Coins than you bring.

After the exchange we'll practice singing so carols to help get
you ready for the Candy Cane Lane III Flash Mob by Saddleback Valley Geocachers.

Some drinks and cookies will be provided but
it
you want bring some more to share, you can. Please let us know
your
plans in your logs. We're hoping for good weather and drink
types
might change depending on weather.
