Christmas CITO is a chance to get out of the house, do a little caching, visit with some friends, exchange a gift or two and give a present back to planet Earth.
What: picnic and park clean up
When: Dec 26th, 2010 2 to 4 PM
Where: Deep River Park, Randleman
Why: for fun and fellowship
I will be making 'traveling chili'. I will supply the meat and the tomatoes, you need to bring a can of your favorite beans! Red, dark red kidney, light red kidney, pinto, white, etc.... to add to the pot! We will be cooking in a 20 gallon cast iron pot!
Bring some of those left over goodies to share a picnic style buffet and a travel bug drop!
There are three caches in the park. Randleman also has over a dozen other caches in and around the park so you can gather quite a few on the way.
At 3 PM we will walk the trail and pick up the trash and haul it back to the shelter City of Randleman will pick up our good deed on Monday.
December is usually brisk but not cold. Good gathering weather!
Bring your 'exchange gift' wrapped. This is the item you received for Christmas and wonder what you are doing to do with. Should be fun.
Travel bug and geocoin drop. If you can't stay for the event, at least drop by to change a bug or coin!
