Located in Erie Canal State Park,also known to local people as Poolsbrook Picnic area, on Andrus Rd. off of Poolsbrook Rd.,Kirkville NY.
Location is a not well known part of the state park system that sees limited use as acess to the Erie Canal and for picnicing of families and small groups. A wonderful place to visit and spend time with family and friends. Cache is at eye level if you can see it. Boots are a good idea in the spring and poison ivy has been seen in the area,so know what vines and 3 leaf plants you grab. We didn't see any now but come spring......Also we like the park so much we made it a 2-fer. There is a second cache here in the same park.Check out "IT'S A GIRL THING".
