Dragonfly Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been missing for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs or logged into geocaching.com for some time I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Many thanks,
DalesmanX

Geocache Description:

I chose this location as I sore my first red Dragonfly, as is cache is within meters of parking I would class this cache as a park and grab.

parking is limited but normally available.

cache is a small camouflaged container.

Ulley Reservoir is a 35 acre reservoir, up to 10 metres deep and holding 580 million litres of water. Construction - Earth embankment this embankment had recently been worked on due to e june 2007 rains which threatened to dam and Rotherham township

In December, 1863 it had become clear to the Board of Health that Rotherham's springs supply could not be relied upon to provide water to the local area, and Parliamentary Powers were sought to create an impounding reservoir.

Today this reservoir no longer supplies water to Rotherham Its now a nature reserve.
