Der Große Kamp entspringt in der Ortschaft Hirschau, etwa 4 km nördlich vom Marktort Liebenau. Er bildet auf seinen ersten Kilometern annähernd die Grenze zwischen Oberösterreich und Niederösterreich. Nach einer Länge von über 150 km mündet er bei Altenwörth in Niederösterreich in die Donau.
The Große Kamp rises in the village Hirschau, about 4 km in the north of Liebenau. On his first few kilometers it is approximately the border between Upper Austria and Lower Austria. After a length of more then 150 km, it flows in the danube near Altenwörth in Lower Austria.
