The Dream Team - MF - George Best Traditional Cache

This is just one in a series of 11 caches which I have hidden
(with just a little help from my dad) on a shortish circular route
around part of Lever Park.

The series is based on famous football players, some from years
gone by right up to the superstars of the present day.

I hope you enjoy the caches and, even if you don't like football
I'm sure you will enjoy the walk around this part of the world!

There isn't much more to say about George Best other than he was arguably one of the greatest footballers ever to walk the planet

Opinions are divided and many believe that he was just that, although the Pele and Maradonna fans would argue otherwise.

Best battled alcoholism for a large part of his adult life and tragically lost his battle in 2005.
