Suki's first adventure Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired it I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Many thanks,
DalesmanX

Geocache Description:

A small cache with childrens swaps inside, a note book and a pencil.

The track has many access points; the one nearest the cache is from St Johns Road, Yeadon, where on street parking is available.

The track is often used by cyclists, families (walking with prams, scooters and roller blades) and dog owners (with their dogs of course). There are no refreshment points available along the track.

Our cat Suki frequently visits this track and often comes home with out her collar. If you find a collar on your journey, please leave it in the cache.

The 1.5km path follows a disused railway line from Parklands View in Yeadon to the old Coach Road leading into Guiseley, passing through wooded cuttings and under bridges including beneath the busy A65.

Yeadon is a town within the City of Leeds metropolitan borough, in West Yorkshire, England. It is home to Leeds Bradford International Airport. The town is built mainly of stone buildings, making it more like neighbouring Bradford in appearance than Leeds. Yeadon is a quiet and relaxing place to walk

Guiseley is a small town in the City of Leeds metropolitan borough in the metropolitan county of West Yorkshire, England. Situated next to Otley and Menston, it is generally considered a northwestern suburb of Leeds. The A65, which runs straight through the town, is the main shopping street. Guiseley railway station offers regular service into Leeds railway station.
