Everyone in the area as heard of Cascadia it was suppose to be
the largest planned community in Washington state near Bonney Lake
but it never actually happened. Roads, a school, and 2 parks were
built but that was all that was ever done in the area.
I always thought the area was off limits but my son's school
needed remodeling this year so he was shipped off to Eismann
Elementary (in Cascadia) for the year.
While visiting the school I noticed a sign saying there were 2
parks open to the public. I confirmed with a security guard that
the park area are open to the public during daylight hours.
The rest of Cascadia is off limits but the parks are open. I sure
hope they open the rest of the area one day there are over 15 miles
of nature trails that were created for the planned community and
now they are just sitting abandon
The statue & plaque have gone missing. Use
alternative solution to solve until it's fixed. In order to
find the cache start at the posted coordinates and you will find a
statue. At the base of this statue you will find a plaque. The
plaque has a date which you will need to find the final
coordinates. If it's a sunny day from this statue you will have a
beautiful view of Mt. Rainier
MM = A
DD = B
YYYY = C
Add (B+B+1)/1000 to the north coordinates
Add (A-6)/1000 to the west coordinates
The area is only open from dawn to dusk so please be respectful
and don't go after this one at night.
ALTERNATIVE SOLUTION: All around the
starting coordinates there are 3 identical signs each with 2 words
"_ _ _" "_ _ _". Take those words and add them to this URL to
reveal the final coordinates. http://tinyurl.com/GC2FC7W-"_ _ _"-"_
_ _" There should be no spaces or quotes between the words instead
use a - between each word.
