Everyone in the area as heard of Cascadia it was suppose to be the largest planned community in Washington state near Bonney Lake but it never actually happened. Roads, a school, and 2 parks were built but that was all that was ever done in the area.
I always thought the area was off limits but my son's school needed remodeling this year so he was shipped off to Eismann Elementary (in Cascadia) for the year.
While visiting the school I noticed a sign saying there were 2 parks open to the public. I confirmed with a security guard that the parks are open to the public during daylight hours.
The rest of Cascadia is off limits but the parks are open. I sure hope they open the rest of the area one day there are over 15 miles of nature trails that were created for the planned community and now they are just sitting abandon.
UPDATE:Cascadia is now Tehaleh and they are starting to build some homes out here. check out http://www.tehaleh.com for details.
Da Vinci Park now Sprouts Holler Park is a kid friendly neighborhood park (without the neighborhood). It's geared towards little kids which is great for me. There are picnic tables and brand new play toys.
The park is only open from dawn to dusk so please be respectful and don't go after this one at night.
If you get stuck and need a hint feel free to send me a message or you can always call me.
CONGRATULATIONS to road trip for another great FTF
