campyc: Yep, that was the tree. Sorry for the disappointment. Maybe someone else can hide another one here now.

PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY, as cache is a large silver bison tube along the Alakai Swamp Trail on the way to Kilohana Lookout . I'd hate to have you not find the cache after hiking all this way.
Yeah, a bison tube is not the easiest cache to find, but it's in an obvious place and should stay dry with the hundreds of inches of rain here every year. On the way to beautiful Kilohana Lookout, you'll want to stop at this stream crossing before starting up the hill - in either direction.
As you approach the stream crossing from the west, you'll see a clump of trees on your right, about 20' west of the crossing.
April 14, 2011: I originally placed it hanging in the tree crotch, anchored to a sturdy branch and covered w/leaves, but it sounds like it's now lower to the ground.
NEXT FINDER: Please re-hide hanging in the tree crotch..
PLEASE RE-HIDE WELL.
It's 9 miles RT to Kilohana, and will take you most of the day, as there is much elevation gain and loss, and muddy, steep, slippery sections, though much of the trail is now boardwalk.
Enjoy the sweet-smelling but invasive kahili ginger all around.
