Unnoticed
You desire to seek a cache nearby,
When perhaps you think it is up high.
Why are you in that tuft of weeds
Engaged in seeking a small metal seed?
Less than your knee
Is where you will see
That it has little height of its own,
And whose colors are camo known.
You hunch low on your feet
Without falling on your seat.
The log it escapes your quill,
For your name on the log is your desire still.
You linger your time
For it is truly fine
When you can report on your blog:
Today I did sign another sweet log!
(My humble apologies to Robert Frost from whose poem "On Going Unnoticed" this poem is roughly based.)
CONGRATULATIONS to co-FTFs oldwood and flower-bud who noticed the unnoticed in record time. CHEERS & ACCOLADES to you both!
