Family friendly cache at the Oregon State Fairgrounds. Open Monday and Tuesday 7am-4pm and Wednesday thru Sunday 7am till dusk most days. Closed Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. Some events may affect availability of this cache and parking may be restricted at times, depending on scheduling. You can drive right in most times and park within feet of the starting coordinates.
The coordinates will take you to the entrance of the Natural Resources Center in the Oregon State Fairgrounds. From here you will take a short tour of the area and answer a few questions to find the final container.
(1) Find the gazebo. How many posts support the roof? This will be A.
(2) Find the Sturgeon. How many "whiskers" does it have? Subtract 1. This will be B.
(3) Find the round sign that says Department of Forestry. How many trees are in the center? This will be C.
(4) Go to the covered area of building G. How many bird footprints in the concrete do you see? This will be D.
(5) There is a motto you can see several places in the area. Finish the motto "Keep Oregon ______. Use the number
of letters in the word. Subtract 3. This will be E.
(6) Find building JJ. How many windows are on it? Subtract 1. This will be F.
