Downley Heights 1 Traditional Cache
woowooneenor: Due to the dislike of this cache from more than 50% of its visitors, I have decided to archive it.
The contents of the cache will be placed into two other caches which i will set up in the next week or so - Don't worry, these new caches won't be in the middle of a housing estate!!!!

THIS CACHE NEEDS TO BE APPROACHED VERY CAREFULLY.
AS YOU LOOK FOR IT YOU WILL BE PRONE TO BEING SPOTTED AS THERE ARE LOTS OF HOUSES OVERLOOKING YOU. DIFFICULTY LEVEL OF FOUR PURELY DUE TO THE RISK OF BEING SPOTTED. POSSIBLY ONE FOR EARLY / LATE HOUR VISITS!
Easy to find traditional cache with goodies for all to swap. In the middle of a housing estate with views across Wycombe. Very near to parking, easy to find but there ARE some steps to negotiate. Easy Cache n Dash
The Downley Heights estate was built in the 80’s as part of a fairly large development. Because of the valley and hillside, at different spots you can get pretty nice views of lots of Wycombe. The view is also totally different from day to night. There are foot paths all through the estate so you could walk from the town centre in about ten minutes – either from a footpath between Morrison’s and Sainsbury’s or via a footpath from near the west Wycombe road. Both routes are hilly and have steps though! The cache should be easy to find without too much hunting. There will be no mud or dirt to clamber through and when you locate the treasure, you should find a 10 litre ice cream tub full of treasure. There is room for a few items and the hope is that people will embrace the idea of treasure and not leave small basic things like pegs, buttons etc but something a tad more valuable! I think £1-£2 value per item is my target. Every item will be kept inside a sandwich bag to help keep the damp out. The box is starting with: Logbook, pen, pencil and sharpener, 7 gifts... There won’t be much public but numerous eyes face you from windows so be careful. BE VERY CAREFUL!
My suggestion is once you find the cache, grab its contents and walk away from the cache sight to fill in the book and do swaps before replacing very carefully
