This cache is less than 100m from a bitumen road and easily accesible through moderately dense bush.
Cache is a small (500ml) white plastic screwtop container containing kids toys & notebook/pencil.
Visible from the cache site is a mountain bike trail called Rays Track. This track was constructed (with a little help from the local MTB fraternity) by a chap called Ray who spent hrs, often on his own with rake, hoe & shovel making this enjoyable cycleway. The track is about 20km in length beginning at Mornington Rd at a spot known to locals as "Dead Cats" and ending a km or so from the cache site.
From 'Balance' you will see a feature of the track particularly challenging for the MTB'ers and attempted only by the very brave (or foolish), especially if riding at night (note the reflectors). It is this feature which gives the cache its name.
The track is only a couple of years old and is a favourite of local riders who enjoy 'technical single track' trails.
Lastly if you are walking along the track look out for riders who can move fast and silently.
