The Skele-dog of Cathleen Doyle's Hill is a legend of a german sheperd who was walking alone on the road. Suddenly, a large car came with no license plate. It got hit, and died. Nobody ever knew, nobody ever would. One day, a spirit came and reincarnated the dog as the skeleton he now was. He waited every night until that car with no license plate came. He took his revenge and everybody in the car dissapeared and so did the car. Skele-Dog now haunts the road up the hill, to reek his vengeance on living souls. May this cache hold the dog's evil ness!!!
What you need:
1. High visibility jacket.
2. Jar and candle to put in.
3. Flashlight(s) (Bring more in case one burns out if you want)
4. GPS and pen
Wear the high visibilty jacket at all times. Keep the candle alight, for later on.
Flashlight is in case your candle blows out, or if you can't see well enough.
GPS and pen are self-explanatory.
Start by making your way up the hill with your GPS, and stop when your coordinates are almost exact by a field. Beautiful views of Midleton at night from here. I have gotten permission from the owner for geocachers to go into the field, though the cache is'nt in the the field.
Thorns nettles and poisonous berries around the cache. Please keep you children well in sight if under 7 years. If not, don't take them.
To make your trip last forever, take a picture of yourself, the cache, your candlelight and the Midleton scenic view. Post them in your log after you find it.
Though, please try and prove you did it at night.
