Geocache Description:

A nice easy, but quite large, cache and dash with parking very nearby. There is a short slope so may not be suitable for unaccompanied children or those with walking difficulties. Please note there is a busy road close by.

Can you please trade up as its a fairly large cache and we like to keep it well stocked !

Nice views across fields in all directions with an old Roman hill fort lying to the west. To the south there is the Cross Hands Hotel which was built in the 14th century and was a resting place for the Queen during a snowstorm in 1981.
