Geocaching Challenge -- Centennial Celebration
"In 2015, the Forest Preserve District will be celebrating our 100th Anniversary. The 2013 passport program has ended as the last geocoin has been distributed."
In September 2010 this cache was placed to commemorate the CITO event 'CITO at Belleau Woods' put on by the Forest Preserve District of Dupage and GoGeocaching.com.
You are hunting for a small lock-n-lock container hidden in a typical geocacher fashion. There is still plenty of trash to pick up so do the environment a favor and pick up trash on your way out of the woods.
During the CITO event we found a variety of items ranging from a rooftop style TV Antenna to an old Gray Hound Bus toy. Here's a photo montage of some of the more interesting items folks found.
