Geocache Description:

Welcome to the sofa dude trials! These caches are for those wanting a easy challenge. NO broken bones or jail time (or worse) is in store for those who attempt these.

I pass by this spot almost every day and have always thought this would be a great spot for a cache. And after looking at some of the STT caches, I now know this was the PERFECT spot for a cache.

Whether your pipe dreams are big or not, I think any cache that involves pipes warrants a 2 terrain. What do you think?

There is another local series that has generated a few pages of discussion on the Houston Geocaching Society forum. This is a continuation of the parody series from ggmorton in response to that discussion. This is a spoof of one of those hides. If you live in Houston, you KNOW it is HOT in the summer. So most of us tend to become Sofa Dudes (a/k/a we don't want to cache and would (much) rather sit on the sofa where it is cool). This series aims to be the totally opposite of the previously implied caching series. There will be no bees to maneuver. No pipes to shimmy -- up or across. No spiderman activities will be required. In fact, there will be no physically demanding requirements to get to the cache, unless you consider getting out of your car on a summer day a pysically demanding requirement (and we all know -- sometimes it just is!). In general they will be fairly close from vehicle to cache. A quick way to get a smiley.

If you would like to add to this series, feel free. I just ask that you e-mail ggmorton for a number first so that we will have an accurate count and none of the numbers will overlap.
