The container is a 50-caliber ammunition can on the north side of a big Cottonwood tree under several small branches. Best point of access is from the Rio Grande Nature Center Parking lot or from the foot/bicycle trail from Candelaria Blvd. Get to the paved walking/cycling/roller blading trail and using your GPS go north until you are just about east of the cache and look for a dirt trail. Go down this dirt trail.
In addition to the log book, we have placed 1 mouse pad, 1 Albuquerque Zoological map, 1 beaded lizard, 1 toy dinosaur, 1 pink pony hair band, 1 toy sheriffs badge, and some stickers.
