Geocache Description:

Photobucket

This cache is placed at Kiser Lake State Park. You can see the Kiser Lake Sailing Club across the Lake. Scouts and Scouters alike have used the park for camping, hiking and sailing. The cache is a small micro container hidden near the access walkway to the Lake. Parking is available within 20 feet of the cache.

For 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has helped youth become more than they ever thought possible. And we'll continue that journey into the next century. Scouting volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, but all are committed to one thing - leading youth to become responsible, caring, and competent citizens. This cache is to honor the unspoken trait of curiosity (with care). Curiosity is what propels you forward and makes life exciting.

The "Get in the Game!" committee of the Tecumseh Council is maintaining this cache for people to discover. It is a micro cache with only a log so you will need to bring a pen/pencil to sign it. Remember to "Be Prepared".

The Tecumseh Council consist of scouting units in Clinton, Greene, Clark, Champagne and Logan counties. This cache is one of six in the Treasures of Scouting series.

If you are an Eagle Scout or involved with Boy Scouts be sure to sign your name, what Troop and Council you were with, and what rank you got to. If it was the Eagle rank, let us know what year.
