So close, yet so far. From here you can see the little island where CC PC is. A bit too far to swim from this side....

The South and North Ward Road Trails are actually easier/nicer than the Campground and Turkey run trails. There is much less underbrush and there seemed to be fewer hills that had me get off the bike. The South Ward trail offers super views of the lake the North some neat creeks and ravines. There are some good maps available on the referenced webpage. If anyone is interested I can email you a gpx file of my “track” that can be uploaded in a GPS. There’s couple of places you can make a “wrong” turn along the way (the connector to another trail and the access to the Brimstone Road trailhead.
