Beautiful hike in Goldstream park to the train trestle. There are several ways to get to the trailhead. The closest spot to park are at these coordinates N48.28.957 W123.33.056. You can also access from the main parking lot at Goldstream and a short walk through the tunnel to the trail head at otherside of the highway. I recommend parking at the posted coordinates as its free parking there. It is a short hike, recommend bringing a bottle of water for the trek.
Custom camo'd lock n Lock container.This cache is inspired by the movie "Stand By Me" which came out in 1986. This train Trestle was finished in the late 1800's and is a magnificent piece of our history which some people may not know its here. We visited this spot before and it reminded me of the movie Stand By Me. The scene where the kids were walking the train trestle and the train comes on the tracks behind them. Items we have left in this cache are movie related from the characters.
The prize for the first to find is a brand new special edition dvd copy of the move Stand By Me.
