What started month ago with the 1st and 2nd may party, so called 10
years! Events is now going to end with the 10 - 10 -
10
Do you remember that picture which we made on May 2nd 2010 ?
Now there is a new challenge. 10 - 10 - 10
in short, whats going on ?
Geocachers are taking October 10th,
2010 (10-10-10) to celebrate 10 years of geocaching and 10 years of
Groundspeak in 2010. You can join
too and make geocaching history.
The geocaching community is
attempting to break the record for number of accounts that logged
caches in a single day. Currently that number stands at
56,654. Even one log on 10-10-10 counts since we are tallying
how many accounts log a cache, rather than the
number of caches logged.
We have the opportunity here to celebrate one of only a
few 10-10-10 Events in Germany and
we will have fun doing that.
Wir treffen uns am 10-10-10 um 2 Uhr nachts an den angegebenen
Koordinaten. Es gibt Kaffee und einige Cacher haben auch Kuchen
angekündigt. Wir werden eines der ersten 10-10-10 Events in Europa
feiern und ich denke wie üblich auch viel Spass haben in andere
müde Gesichter zu schauen.
Es gehen Gerüchte um das Groundspeak jedem Cacher der am 10-10-10
mindestens einen Cache loggt ein Item in die neugeschaffene Rubrik
"Souvenirs" posted. Es muss also nicht zwangsläufig ein Event
besucht werden !
Also dann, sucht euch einen Nachtcache vorher raus und dann bis
Samstag nacht, 2 uhr morgens !
