Geocache Description:

Beacon Rock geocache is located on moorland above the Cliviger valley. From the cache site, you get views over to the rock known as Beacon Rock.

Beacon Rock is an outcrop of sandstone, from the Lower Coal Measures period.

The cache is located on moorland, so please go prepared as the weather can change quickly up here.
