This cache is Located at BASS River Recreation Area. BASS River Recreation Area, is a 1,665-acre site, consists of open meadows, open brush land, mature hardwoods, small ponds and 300-acre Max Lake. It has approximately three miles of frontage on the Grand River. The park is used primarily for boating, hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding.
I have spent a lot of time out here doing various activities but one of my favorites was fishing in the area. I have caught mostly walleye, pike, and both small and large mouth BASS in the Gravel Pits and in Max Lake. I could not think of a better place to join my love of fishing and geocaching than BASS River Recreational Area.
Ever since I started caching a little over a year ago I have wanted to put out a 5-5 since there are not many around. I have taken things I have learned over the year and put them all together in hopes of making a true 5-5 cache.
There are some things I have always hated about fishing though. Have you ever tried throwing a spoon lure under the stump of a fallen tree to get that BASS to bite and got it snagged? Lost sight of your bobber as you grabbed some water. What about throwing a spinner lure at the monster BASS only to get it stuck in a tree as you watched it swim away? Or even trying to find worms so you can go fishing. The worst thing that has happened to me by far is when my fishing pole broke while fighting a huge BASS. But in the end when you lock up your tackle box after a long hike to your favorite fishing hole you remember it is still better than a good day at work. Who knows you might even have caught something while you were out there.
FTF prize is a $25 gift card to Dunham Sports. Note: All coords were taken and using Waypoint Averaging with my Oregon 450 and also had my GPSMap 60CSx confirming the coords.

Congratulations and to Tom_Kat, gvsu4msu, and Conman on the shared FTF! Enjoy your prize... However you split it up!
