Geocache Description:

This cache is planted on the baseball fields/playground area of the Carroll County Recreation Center, just off the Hillsville exit on I-77.

Once off the exit go West on 58, turning left at the stop light before the gas station and the McDonalds (the name of the road is Farmers Market Dr.) from there about 1 block, take a right on Ball Park Dr. and continue to bb field/playground parking area(down on left). You don't have to go up towards the ball fields or pass the gate to find this cache.

These fields is where my son and all the local little leaguers play their baseball and t-ball games. I thought the locals and traveling cachers/sports fans might enjoy a pretty easy P&G where they could trade BB,FB or any other cards while taking a break from the road and stretching their legs . There’s also plenty of room for TB’s and other S.W.A.G..

Please sign your handle and the city and state where you live to the softball in small but readable writing and the reason why I’m using a softball instead of a baseball is that there’s room for more logs . Being this one is a interstate cache I’m hoping to see signatures from cities all over the U.S. and even Canada.

There’s plenty of park using muggles around so a little stealth may be required especially on weekends.
There’s already 50-75 BB cards in the cache to start the trading and 2 unopened packs for the FTF.

Ozz24348 (GO YANKEES!!!!!) from a neighboring county will be helping me to look after this one so please let us know when the softball runs out of room for logs so one of us can change it out with an new one.Return to zip-loc bag and replace as found so other can enjoy.Thanks.
