The cache is hidden on state forest land. The gate has been open recently, but if closed, it would be a short, easy walk in. As always, happy caching!
Travelling along, considering a site for a new cache, a red-tailed hawk swooped along above the road in front of us and then landed in the trees ahead. As we neared it's location, it again flew directly up the roadway, and landed ahead of us. This continued numerous times as if the hawk were leading us and we decided to name this cache in honor of this magnificent bird.
