Like many lookouts that were once in this area, the tower on
Meadow Mountain is long gone - all that remains are bits and pieces
of metal. The view hasn't changed though. That's the reason the
lookout was put here in the first place, and that's as good a
reason as any for you to come up here now.
There's a road that will take you within a tenth of a mile of
the top, but you'll need a high-clearance vehicle to get that
close. The higher your clearance, the less you'll have to walk.
There's a trail up the ridge on the south west, or just do what I
did and get as close as you can on the road before heading straight
up.
