Geocache Description:

GeoCrush is a series of art caches at Puget Sound cultural institutions. These aren't ordinary cache containers. They're displays where you can interact with the caches in an artistic way.

This art cache is available from October 11 to October 16. It is located at the Richard Hugo House, at 1634 11th Avenue in Seattle. Cache hours are Monday to Friday 12 pm to 6 pm, and Saturday 12 pm to 5 pm.

About this Cache
Poetry is always an experimental art, and this cache is no exception to that rule. Your resources are words which can become all sorts of sentences, but there is a strong difference between making sense and making art. Indulge your inner versifier, and post your contribution to the log if you like.

If you're lucky, you could win tickets to "Pick-Up Artists: The Musical" from Quiet, or tickets from Unexpected Production, or a passport to the arts from the Cornish College of the Arts. Just fill out an entry slip and drop it into the envelope at the counter!

About the Richard Hugo House:
Richard Hugo House is a home for writers and readers. Their mission is to provide writers of all ages and backgrounds with the resources they need, connect audiences with the world of writing, foster the creation of new work and promote the literary arts as a vital part of our culture.

About GeoCrush:
GeoCrush is an event that takes place all over ArtsCrush 2010. There are 20 art caches at cultural institutions around the Sound. When you find a cache, sign the logbook and fill out an entry form. When the cache is archived at the end of its run, we will draw winners at random from all the entries. You can win event tickets, art memorabilia, and other prizes from our host institutions. Check the cache listings to see the complete list of prizes. This event was created by Groundspeak, Theatre Puget Sound, and Lone Shark Games.
