Geocache Description:

GeoCrush is a series of art caches at Puget Sound cultural institutions. These aren't ordinary cache containers. They're displays where you can interact with the caches in an artistic way.

This art cache will be available from October 25 to October 31. It is located in Studio 2 of the American Dance Institute, at 8001 Greenwood Avenue North in Seattle. Enter from the back entrance in the observation area. Cache hours are Monday to Friday 3 to 8 pm, Saturday  9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.

About this Cache
As anyone at American Dance Institute will tell you, dance is first and foremost a method of communication. Whether labeled "interpretive" or not, dance will tell you something important without using even one spoken word. Come to this cache for a lesson in body language.

If you're lucky, you could win a gift certificate for a month of dance classes from American Dance Institute, or a year of arts classes from Art on the Ridge. Just fill out an entry slip and drop it in the cache!

About the American Dance Institute:
American Dance Institute's goal is professional dance instruction in a non-threatening, non-competitive environment. They balance technical training with each individual's creativity for total dance enjoyment. The emphasis of their program is learning technique and concepts rather than dances. They offer beginning classes for students with no prior training. Continuing classes enable further skill development.

About GeoCrush:
GeoCrush is an event that takes place all over ArtsCrush 2010. There are 20 art caches at cultural institutions around the Sound. When you find a cache, sign the logbook and fill out an entry form. When the cache is archived at the end of its run, we will draw winners at random from all the entries. You can win event tickets, art memorabilia, and other prizes from our host institutions. Check the cache listings to see the complete list of prizes. This event was created by Groundspeak, Theatre Puget Sound, and Lone Shark Games.
