How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The Court of Honor is the awards ceremony where the boys get the awards they have earned such as merit badges, new ranks, etc. Come and help us celebrate the end of the 100th year of scouting and the end of the 10th year of geocaching. While we are not giving out awards, just thought it would be a fitting name for the year ending event. The event is at Planet X from noon to 2 PM, and we have reserved the group party room. They have all sorts of games, such at mini-golf, lazer tag, spaceball, and much more for the kids or us adults that refuse to grow up, or you can just sit around and talk geocaching. They have all sorts of food from pizza to burgers. You will be on your own if your buying food, or playing games.

In this year long project we have been doing, a large number of geocaches have been placed this year in the Hawkeye Area Council. To see the list of these caches and events you can check out the bookmark list that is bookmark to this event page.

Also it's not required, but it's encouraged, to bring one can of a non-perishable food item. These will be collected and dropped off to the local food bank. Let's see how much we can collect!!!
