Micro cache container in a camouflage bag
This cache is directly alongside a public footpath.
which rises from Wensley dale from where the signpost points to Brightgate.
The track is mixed ground stone and grass and can be slippy when wet.
cattle sometimes graze around it and the hillside meadows.
Dogs shouldbe on leads.
Closest car parking in the Square Wensley village.The cache is then less than 10 minutes walk away.
The surrounding hillside is steeped in mining history. It is probable that the Romans mined lead long before the modern 19th century leadmining era. There are good views toward Matlock and back towards the village. As the track continues to rise the vista is even more wonderful.
