Nothing fancy, just a nice
walk or bike ride from town to the north end of Prudence Island.
Heck, you could even beach your kayak a short walk along a trail to
the cache.
The cache is located near an old farmstead. You will clearly see
the remains of the cellar, foundations and fences. Take your time,
and enjoy the area and read the informational signs. Please do not
disturb the ruins...let's leave them as they are for others to
enjoy for many years.
This is a great spot for a picnic lunch or even a birthday
celebration. There are benches right in the middle of the area.
You can get to Prudence any way you want, but here's a link that may be helpful.
The cache is located on DEM Wildlife Management Property, so be
aware hunting is allowed in season.

It is the user's responsibility to know the rules before hiking in
the Wildlife Management Areas.
