Cache is a bison tube hidden near a picturesque spot. Good area for birdwatching, and deer like to congregate pretty much everywhere. I hope you enjoy this trail as much as I do.
Trail is paved and mostly level. You can access the trail from two different parks. The walk from the Rabbit Run Park trailhead is shorter, the walk from the Woodlands Park is longer, but both are pleasant. To get to the cache will require a very, very short bushwhack
ATTENTION: heavy rains can flood portions of these parks and trails, so the cache may become inaccessible from either or both parks. Permission granted by St. Peters Park Ranger Olson, who is enthusiastic about geocaching. He did ask me, however, to remind everybody that St. Peters parks and trails are open from dawn to dusk (Woodlands opens at 9 AM for some reason) and if you’re caught geocaching after dark you’ll be given a $$$ ticket.
