If you are approaching from the West you noticed how the trail/road narrowed and become overgrown. Water must be nearby. If you are approaching from East, you already saw the main stream, and you are all wet, or you are glad and happy that you didn't fall into it :)
*Update: Since cache has been placed, this are has overgrown. Moved the cache from second post, that you can't even see now, to a branch of a tree, just one step from the trail. As in some areas GPS signal bounces, some cachers reported GZ to be 30-50 feet south of posted coordinates.* For years I ride my bicycle in this canyon Many times I said to myself "here is the perfect place for a cache". I just never had time to do it, and a few fellow geocahers placed caches exactly where I thought to put them. At least I learned that my choices of places for caches make sense :) Today I decided to place a few caches along not so crowded West end of the North LPC trail, at the places I like, find interesting for some reason, and sometimes make quick stops/breaks to enjoy the serenity and peacefulness of those spots. This cache is a painted/camoed, narrow plastic container. Small pencile inside. TOTT might be needed to pull out the log. Please close the container all the way so it seals, and re-hide it well. Not so many people walk through here, but they might surprise you around the bend. Be stealthy.
Congratulations to bfGigEm07! FTF!
