Polaris (the North Star) was located by first finding the Alpha and Beta pointer stars Dubhe and Merak found in the Big Dipper (Ursa Major) Constellation.
Polaris (the North Star) was located by first finding the Alpha and Beta pointer stars Dubhe and Merak found in the Big Dipper Constellation (Ursa Major).
In order to obtain the true location of Polaris; the North Star Cache you must first find its two pointer caches Dubhe (GC2FRGT) and Merak (GC2FRH6) in order to obtain the North and West coordinates for this mystery cache. These are traditional caches located in the area.
