A fairly straightforward
hide on a deep water pier, left over when the Navy left Prudence
Island.
The south end of Prudence Island was home to a Naval magazine
during World War II. This pier was used for the loading and
off-loading of munitions, which were stored in the multitude of
nearby bunkers. The area is criss crossed with concrete roads which
helped facilitate the movement. If you have time, do some
exploring!
The views across the Bay to Portsmouth are also worth taking
in!
The cache is located on DEM Wildlife Management Property, so be
aware hunting is allowed in season.
Fluorescent Orange Requirements for users
