You are looking for a large, green, 5-gallon bucket a short hike from a paved road and parking through some underbrush and sand, but not too terribly difficult. ***Please be sure to seal container back thoroughly.***
Okay, I admit it. I am a Trek-a-holic. Trekkie, Trekker….call me what you will, but yes, I am that. I spent 15 years in Starfleet: The International Star Trek Fan Association. I walked the walk, and talked the talk, uniform and all. My wedding ceremony was at a Trek convention, with us both in full Star Trek geekery, with Chase Masterson (“Leeta” from DS9) as my maid-of-honor. My daughter’s middle name is Kathryn, named for Captain Kathryn Janeway (Star Trek: Voyager). I am a Trek nerd extraordinaire!
I was also a toy collector/dealer for several years, and amassed quite a collection of several genres of sci-fi, but by far, the largest collection was that of Star Trek. Now, I share it with you, fellow geocachers, as my passion for caching has now surpassed my passion for Trek. (Sacrilege, I know.)
Contained in this cache are many fineries of the late 1990’s collecting era of Star Trek – when collecting was in its prime (think repaints!!). The prize for FTF is to get your pick of this finery. The pickings will diminish as more people find it, so get there soon to get something cool! I hope you have something cool to put in the cache, too, hopefully Trek related. However, at least something sci-fi would be nice. This cache is very big, so be prepared to spend some time looking through the stash and trying to decide what to pick. One item only, please.
