The fountain in Laodicea is the most interesting, in light of the Letter to the Laodiceans mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Nearby you will find this cache.
The reconstruction of Laodicea is the region's great venture. Archaeologists say that after this reconstruction, the city will be more vast than the reconstructed ruins of Ephesus.
Make sure to make time to visit these ruins on your trip to Pamukkale. It's very close to the "hot" waters of Hieropolis/Pamukkale and the "cold" waters which once upon a time came from the mountains above Colossae along the aquaduct to the fountain in Laodicea.
Watch out for muggles!!! 200+ workers are employed by the active archeology team.
