This two-stage multicache is a replacement for the now archived traditional geocache http://coord.info/GC292A
To find this multicache, you will need to do a little onsite investigation. Your mission! To obtain information which can be found at or very near the posted coordinates that will lead you to a treasure box a little ways away. Stage-1 - Virtual Stage-2 - Cammo'd Ammo Can. When you arrive at Stage-1 you will be entering the interpretive room where you will find a wall mounted display interpreting the Petaluma Adobe. To find Stage-2, you will need find out which period this sign is interpreting. NNNN-WWWW From this information, some very basic math is required such that: NNNN - 1421 = ABC WWWW - 1810 = DEF Stage-2 is located at N38° 15.ABC W122° 35.DEF The coordinates for Stage-2 were averaged but tree cover may warrant using your eyes more than the GPS when you get within 10 feet of GZ. PLEASE NOTE: This cache placed by permission granted by the Park's resident Ranger. Please abide by all posted rules and park hours. Petaluma Adobe State Historic Park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, the park is closed on New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. There are admission fees to visit the park, the fees are $3.00 for adults, $2.00 for children between 6 and 16, and children under 5 are free. The paid admission is also good, on the same day, at Sonoma State Historic Park (which includes the Barracks, Mission San Francisco Solano, and the General Vallejo Home) in Sonoma.
