Geocache Description:

This cache is in a very mazy area near the Charles River. There are trails but they are very labyrinth like..not for the claustrophobic as its tight not only on your sides but overhead as well.

This whole cache came from a mistake plotting where another cache was located. Wound up here, and thought it was a fantastic & unusual spot for a tricky cache. The location is like a corn maze but with reeds and other river marsh growth canopying you in on all sides. Strangely there are lots of paths throughout, but to navigate I either recommend you be pretty small or are prepared to duck throughout. I'd also recommend long pants and a long shirt (maybe some protective eyewear as well)...though not required it may prevent some scratches. There is no need to make your own trail...one or many of the trails will take you to the cache. The cache is located at the end of the line of one of the trails exactly one foot off path. The coords should be super accurate, checked both once at night and once during day with both of my GPSr's, so if your in the right spot coord wise, you just have to look carefully at what's around....It sticks out in this location. Now as always I'm not sure who hangs around this area at night (or day for that matter) so bringing a buddy is always recommended....but it sure is a fun spooky one to do at night by yourself! Almost forgot...tweezers would help with log extraction, but I wouldn't call this a micro however! DanielJBub, loved hearing some of the history of the location. Was wondering what/who could have made those paths. Nice to hear that is pretty safe as well. I know it can be spooky if you remember seeing Children Of The Corn or any of those great horror movies that stick with you from seeing them as a kid! One of the trailheads is at N 42 21.729 W 71 08.899 Parking is suggested across the river and bridge at N 42 21.785 W 71 08.694.......though you may be able to park on the side of the river the cache is on, its easier and a pretty quick walk to park where suggested!
