Geocache Description:

The town of Wascott, Wisconsin was established in 1910, covers an area of approximately 142 square miles, approximately 8.2 square miles of which is water.

Apple Lake is one of the dozens of small lakes located on Douglas County FCL. Although very picturesque, the water level is still low.

You will find the best place to park to begin your search is located on Lost Lake Road (N46 13.169 W091 54.172)

Note that the walk is a bit difficult due to the slashings in the plantation. But it's good exercise.

You will be searching for a "smallish" plastic canister painted camo with a screw-on top.

Inside this cache, you will find one of the values (A) you need to solve the coordinates to "WWW - West Wascott Lakes (or ponds)".

During deer hunting season, be sure to wear blaze orange as you search for this cache.
