A sunset
meet and greet at Blind Pass/Turner Beach,
Captiva Island.
Come and celebrate the sunset
on the Island. This is a nice quiet, get away
from it all event to take in the beach, the island, and of course,
the sunset.
In all
honesty, how many times have you stopped long enough to see the
sunset? Not often, I am
guessing. So, come on out and join this group of city slicker,
cast-away wannabees as we celebrate the sunset while visiting the
island.
This is a low, low maintenance
meet and greet. Bring your favorite chair and your honey, and enjoy
the sunset over the
distant
horizon.
According to the informed
sources, the sunset is
estimated to be at 6:43:05
PM
Come on out around 6:30 PM and
stay until the sun has set, making way for the moon to
arrive.
As most everyone will remind
you, nothing in life is free. Even though the sunset is free, access to the
island is not. There is a toll to cross the bridge to the island
and according to the Lee County Parks & Recreation website,
there is a $2 per hour parking fee from 7 AM to 7 PM. Parking is
limited, arrive
early.
