Alpine Reviewer: As I have not received an update from the cache owner, I am archiving this cache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you (the cache owner) wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future, please contact me, and assuming it meets the guidelines, I will be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Cache is not at the given coordinates, but is within very short walking distance, as are all the required clues...

Imagine you're a friend of ol' Superman attempting to unravel a plot by Lex Luther to lure him to the cache's final location. For the sake of Clark Kent it would be best if you found it before he did, thereby "diffusing" the trap when you sign the log and ultimately save the day!

There is paid parking available near the coords most days. Avoid Saturday mornings and early Wednesday evenings (Farmer's Market). Might have to park along a neighboring street during these times. If unfamiliar with Boulder it's definitely worth taking the time to check out the suggested clue locations in more detail ("D" is particularly Geocaching relevant and a personal favorite). Locals may recognize the locations and clues quickly...

Alongside the puzzle (which shouldn't cause any brain damage), the cache itself is a stealthy mini-micro of sorts... Hence the overall difficulty rating. Log only. Bring a pen.

Clues:

A = One of Boulder's sister cities constructed the unique structure at the given coordinates. What is the name of the country the sister city is located in. There is a descriptive plaque near the entry...

B = Abbreviated name (letters only, eg: "CIA") of the structure/institution immediately south of the given coordinates and clue "A". There is a tall wooden "mushroom" on its northwest corner. The name is on the building...

C = Immediately west of the given coordinates is a park. Look for a boulder at the intersection of the east-west and north-south pedestrian/bike paths. What is the park's name, sans the word "Park", as engraved on the stone...

D = There is a business south of the given coordinates and clue "B" that might interest a Geocacher. It's also the inspiration for this cache's location. It's name is the "Boulder _____ Gallery"...

Final coordinates for the cache are the number of letters in answer to each of the questions above, A through D, as substituted below. Checksum of all answers (number of letters) A + B + C + D should equal 25. You can additionally check your solution to the coordinates here.

FINAL LOCATION OF CACHE: N 40° 00.(A - 2)(B + 2)8' - W 105° 16.(C - 1)(D)7'
