Julia's Broken Boat.
My daughter Julia is my little mommy, she gets sad when anything is broken or hurt. On the main shortcut to our house, we drive past this old, sinking boat. She calls it "broken boat". Lately some punks have been tagging it up, so she wonders why broken boat is getting drawn all over. I tell her they shouldnt do that, just like you shouldnt draw on the walls, your sister, or the cat (bazinga! teachable moment!)
Anways, at GZ there is a giant tree in the way, but when you pull up / away you can see broken boat. There was an article in the Sacramento Bee saying the owner is going to fix it up...um, ok, that was like three years ago.
Small shoulder across the street to park, be careful getting out. Watch out for cars whizzing by, terrain has been made a 3 simply for the fact you are almost in the street at GZ. You do NOT need to "walk the plank" or go more than a few feet off the roadway to get the prize.
Take a moment as your approach / pull away to admire Broken Boat, and think of it through the eyes of a four year old little girl named Julia. She is sad for this boat.
