Introdução:

Baldrick é uma personagem imaginária e interpretada por Tony Robinson na série Blackadder que atravessa várias épocas.

Neste caso Baldrick separou-se de Blackadder às portas de Barcelos quando iam em peregrinação a Santiago de Compostela. Enquanto Blackadder seguiu pela ponte, Baldrick ficou pasmado a ver a água a correr junto à abertura da comporta. Esta funciona, por artes mágicas, como caixa de correio e portal do tempo onde recebe as pistas para encontrar a localização do seu tesouro.

Tesouro onde está o ouro necessário para comprar, aquilo que ele acha que é de maior valor no mundo: o maior nabo que encontrar na feira de Barcelos.

On this moment Baldrick stayed behind Blackadder at the entrance of Barcelos while travelling on a peregrination to Santiago de Compostela. While Blackadder crossed the bridge, Baldrick stayed staring at the running water near the dam opening. This is working by magical arts, as a mail box, where he receives the clues that could lead to the finding of the treasure key.

Where is the gold needed to buy, the thing he thinks is the most valuable piece on world: the biggest turnip that he could find at the Barcelo's fair.
