After visiting "On the Way to Oz" I felt
inspired to put a cache out in an area that really did not have
many caches. Besides, isn't the Emerald City worthy of more than
one cache! So, after surveying some nice spots along a very wide
trail (which is actually a gated dirt road), a new cache was
born.
To get to this cache head on out on I-90
past the pass. Take the Cabin Creek exit and go to the north side
of the freeway along a dirt road.
The cache is located about 30 feet off of
the established road/trail. Its located in some prime cross country
skiing area. I would advise against this doing this during the
winter as the cache will likely be buried by several feet of snow.
If you decide to go for this during the winter, you are on your
own.
The FTF prize consists of a most
appropriate trackable coin. Also note that Tobias and Petronella
assisted with placement and beta tested this cache. They are logged
as beta testers. They are NOT FTF signers. They will log as a find
after the FTF has logged.
Please rehide the cache IN THE EXACT SPOT
you found this. Also be warned, there are muggles who routinely
walk the trails. After placing the cache, we ran into an elderly
couple who stated that the frequently walk the trails in the area
several times a week and love to cross country ski in the area in
the winter. With this in mind, please keep your stealth guard
up!
Cache it REAL!
