Geocache Description:

A cache placed close to the heart of Sir Thomas & Lady Dixon park. You will be rewarded with beautiful gardens and views regardless of your choice of entry to the park.

Secret Garden

This is my first placed cache and when I was choosing a location I could not believe that there was not one here. The GZ is close to the heart of the park which is one of the most beautiful and friendly parks I have ever visited. The park caters for most light activities in the area, be it dog-walking, cycling, taking the children to the park, photography or just plain walking.

There is an excellent adventure park which is a hit with the kids and has an ice-cream seller at one of the entrances who is open during the cafe opening hours.

The cafe offers hot and cold snacks as well as substantial feeds for the hungrier rambler. During the summer the cafe does a raring trade in ice-creams too.The park is very well paved but the steps down to the cache are uneven and might pose a hinderance for wheelchair users.
