Grotte i Tromsdalen
Denne grotten er ikke en kalksteinsgrotte, det er mer som en lang
hule. Det er nok bekken som har funnet seg vei i noen
fjellsprekker. Og den har tydeligvis funnet seg flere veier.
Grotten er ikke veldig stor og du må nok forvente deg en del
kryping og åling innover og nedover.
Husk å ta med hodelykt og/eller en god håndlykt. Er også å anbefale
å ta på seg noen slitesterke klær da det blir en del kryping på
steiner inne i grotten. Dette er heller ikke stedet for de som har
klaustrofobi :)
Det to innganger, den ene er rett ned der som vannet renner ned nå.
Jeg har ikke testet den veien selv, men ser ut som den går ett godt
stykke innover og nedover. Den andre inngangen er rett til høyre
for fossen og går nedover på skrå. Denne grotten er stort sett
tørr, du trenger ikke støvler. Når du først er kommet inn i denne
inngangen deler den seg og en gang går på skrå nedover og innover i
fjellet. Jeg kom meg ett lite stykke nedover der før det ble for
smalt for meg. Men man kan muligens komme ett stykke videre der. Du
hører bekken godt her så den går nok ikke langt unna.
Den andre veien går til høyre rett etter at du er kommet innafor
den andre inngangen. Denne veien var den veien jeg kom meg lengst.
Er blitt sagt at den går rundt 250m innover. Jeg var ikke så langt.
Er litt trangt på enkelte steder.
Husk at dere går inn i grotten på eget ansvar!
Cachen er en 1.2L plastboks, med logbok og blyant og pen. Samt noen
små bytteting. FTF-pin til første finner. Cachen er ikke inne i
grotten og er nok tilgjengelig hele året, men det sies at
inngangene til grotten snør igjen på vinteren. Så ta med spade om
du er her på vinteren.

This cave is not a limestone grotto, it's more like a long
rockcave. It's probably the stream that has found its way in some
mountain crevices. And the stream has apparently found several
ways. The cave is not very big and you have to expect some crawling
and creeping inward and downward.
Remember to bring your headlamp and / or a good torchlight. It is
also recommended to take on some durable clothing as there are some
crawling on rocks in the cave. This is not the place for those with
claustrophobia :)
There are two entrances, one is right down where the water flows
down now. I have not tested that way myself, but looks like it will
go a long way inward and downward. The second entrance is to the
right of the waterfall and go down at an angle. This cave is mostly
dry, no boots needed. Once you are inside this entrance splits and
one path is going downwards and into the mountain. I was not far
down there before it was too narrow for me. But you might get a bit
further there. You will hear the creek well here so it is probably
not far away.
The other way is to the right just after you have arrived within
the second entrance. This path was the one I got the farthest. Has
been said that it goes around 250m inwards. I was not too far. Is a
little cramped in some places.
Remember that you enter the cave at your own risk!
The cache container is a 1.2L plastic box, with logbook, pen and
pencil. And some small things to swap. FTF-pin to first finder. The
cache is not inside the cave and are probably avaiable all year
around, but it is said that the entrance to the cave gets hidden
behind snow in the winter. Take with you a shovel if you get here
in the winter.
